Kick It Up

Sunrise in grean meadowThere are slices of one’s life when great
expectations don’t materialize and
anticipation melts into despair. Maybe
that kind of response is humanly unavoidable,
but we must be careful not to wrap ourselves
in blankets of it. We’ve got to keep pouring
fresh, fervent hopes and plans into our psyche.
It’s the only way to kick up our legs and start
running through the tall green grass, again.

I love the way you word things – it’s such a unique and fresh way to deliver wise counsel. It makes me want to kick up my legs and run through the tall trees!

I try and remind myself of when a dream fizzled and then another dream came true right after that. So much of evolving is to resist the tendency to take things personally. So many times, when a thing doesn’t end well it is not about you. So it’s a colossal waste of energy feeling wrecked over it. It’s one of the hardest lessons to learn.
CJ, I love the way you tell us things here on your blog. Such a fresh jolt of positive energy!!! Like a wheatgrass shot of emotional support.
