“A long hallway…” What an interesting way to describe it. Although I’d never really thought about it before, there’s a lot of wisdom in remembering the space between the opening and closing doors in our lives. This resonates deeply with me on a level I’m not sure I fully grasp yet. Thank you for sharing such a powerful message!

Yep, it’s that space in-between that we usually forget about… but there has to be “space.”

Oh, this is soooo true. I can certainly look at the past couple of years and see that I have been going down a long hallway. The good news is I can look back and say “yes, it has been worth it” So glad I did not give up. Just keep walking down that hallway.
    Thanks CJ

Me too. I feel like mine was more of a long labyrinth… 😉

I bounced off the walls of my hallway for a bit before learning how to go straight. In looking back, the bumps are the most cherished.

It’s so true! I just came out of the longest hallway ever – and it truly is a beautiful time of my life right now. It’s never too late for dreams to morph into reality!

When I can say I’m actually IN that hallway, that’s enough. We just keep going, right?

Many doors opening right now in my own personal hallway! I just have to keep reminding myself to keep doing the processing and the work. Now that I’m here, I want to do it!!!

This is such a powerfully visual metaphor! I often feel as if I’m in that metaphorical hallway, opening this door, then that door, as I make my way along it, choosing to step through one doorway or, after a peek inside, bypassing another. This is such a lovely reminder that all that “meandering” is a valuable part of the journey. One just needs to keep moving forward…..Thanks, CJ!

It is a brilliantly written, informative and (a) fascinating read. Burke Strunsky’s ongoing faith in humanity and the criminal justice system is refreshing and his unwavering persistence in seeking justice for the victims of violent crimes serves to light a bright path on the very dark road to justice—and offers hope and inspiration to us all.
